3. Water Resistance: If you are swimming or sweating, choose a water-resistant sunscreen to ensure continued protection.


4. Skin Type: Consider your skin type when choosing a sunscreen. For oily or acne-prone skin, look for non-comedogenic formulas. For sensitive skin, opt for sunscreens with physical filters like zinc oxide.


5. Application: Ensure you apply enough sunscreen to cover all exposed skin. Reapply every two hours, or more often if swimming or sweating.

Tips for Daily Sunscreen Use


- Apply Generously: Use about a shot-glass worth of sunscreen for your entire body and a nickel-sized amount for your face.

- Don’t Forget Easy-to-Miss Spots: Apply sunscreen to often-overlooked areas like the ears, neck, and the tops of the feet.

- Combine with Other Protective Measures: Wear protective clothing, hats, and sunglasses, and seek shade during peak sun hours (10 AM to 4 PM).
